Our Aim is to recognise the progression of orienteers of all ages through colour coded events. For White through to Brown courses, the scheme uses the method of the colour standard being set at 150% of the winner’s time. Once a member has achieved the standard time or better, for the same level of course at three different events, they gain a colour coded standard. (These events must be Regional events or bigger, so our Local Saturday events will not count.) The Awards Secretary will keep a note of progress for our Junior members and a cloth badge will be awarded.
For Senior members of Moravian, simply send an e-mail to secretary@mor.scot along with details of the 3 events where you achieved the colour coded standard and you will receive your badge.

The Club’s successful Junior Participation Badge scheme (where Juniors are awarded a badge after 5,10,25,50 and 100 events) will continue to run alongside this new scheme. As we feel the current scheme is great for newer Juniors who are rewarded for simply taking part in an Orienteering Event. However, we are no longer going to keep a note of the number of events Juniors have taken part in once they have reached 100 events, as we feel this new scheme will be more appropriate for these more experienced Juniors.
